Stages

Info for 3rd stage, final ceremony and afterparty

• parking for racers – next to bus-turning spot, GPS: https://bit.ly/4agxqlo, organizers will be there
• 7:30 beacon check, parking lot Žiarska dolina: https://bit.ly/3ThZDBy
• equipment – all from race rules including crampons, ice-axe, without harness
• 8:00 – start
• first approx. 3 km in one group, at moderate pace - safety car (flying start) up to snow level (at 1200 m a. s. l.)
• real start from there on skins. There is no snow on wooden bridge after 500m, but is crossable on skins

MEN & VETERANS:

• ascent continues on skins to Baníkovský kotol, where crampons will be required 
• fixed rope on ski descent is obligatory to use
• long ascent to the top oh Hrubá kopa
• STOP TIME after descent from Hrubá kopa will be applied with index = 1.8
• following ascent to top of Nohavica will be on foot (without crampons) 
• !! pay attention in the upper part of the following descent – there is a marked avalanche departure spot
• snacks after finish - below Žiarska chata – on the left

ŽENY a JUNIORI:

• ascent continues on skins to the top of Hrubá kopa
• STOP TIME after descent from Hrubá kopa will be applied with index = 1.8
• ascent to top of Prostredný grúň, crampons and ice-axe obligatory in the upper part
• finish above Žiarska chata

AFTER RACE

• Lunch at Hotel spojár
• Program in dom kultúry Bobrovec from 12:00: food stalls / Bokami – souvenirs
• 15:30 final ceremony and afterparty - EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
